Training Plan

The Norwegian Foot March is an intense experience and requires proper preparation. Depending on each individual’s level of fitness, there are three main challenges - distance, load and speed. Building up progressively and safely is the key to successfully training for this march. SV Sam E. has provided a recommended 15-week Training Plan for you to guide your own training.

Supporting SV Activities

Most of the Training Plan is meant to be done in your own time but there are two weekly SV activities that you can leverage on for your training - Tuesday Snails Run on Tuesday and the SV Trailblazers’ hike on Sunday.

Qualification Events

To ensure proper safety and training, the SV NFM Team 2022 will require a few Qualification Events to take place. This is a check-in to see a participants training progress and also to make a decision on whether the participant is allowed to take part. All Qualification Events are mandatory.
