Pre-Enlistee Social Fitness
So you signed up for the Corps and you have your BT date in hand. You are sure you should prepare for this journey but not sure where to start? Don’t worry, the Pre-Enlistee Social Fitness programme provides opportunities to train alongside existing SVs.
Get fitter
Basic Training is going to require you to be physically and mentally fit. The activities organized by existing SVs to help pre-enlistees are designed to help prepare you. From running and tabata to improve cardio to hiking with load, it is designed so that your fitness improves and you’re ready for BT.
The training for the training… why join?
Meet SVs
The PESF activities are a great way to find out more about the Corps by meeting serving SVs. Without spoiling some of the surprises in Basic Training, they can share with you their experiences from working deployments and their activities in the Corps.
Right mindset
While Basic Training is physically taxing, it is actually more of a mind game than anything else. This requires developing both mental resilience and adopting the necessary military mindset. By training with the Corps before hand, you can get a better idea of what is expected of you.
