Shooters, run and shoot!

In our effort to train our SVs to be more confident and competent in skill-at-arms, the Steadfast Shooters are organising a regular monthly laser shoot and run competition based around UIMP Pentathlon rules, using UIMP Target Pistols as used in sanctioned international events. This isn’t just your regular shooting activity, this requires you to run and shoot accurately which isn’t easy! But that’s what we train for, isn’t it?

Event Details

• Cost: $10 per participant

• Attire: Wear clothes suitable for track running and potentially shooting in standing/kneeling/sitting positions.

Sample Course

Course subject to change but here is a sample of what you might be doing:

• 100m Sprint Start

• Target Shooting (5 hits on target)

• 400m run

• Target Shooting (5 hits on target)

• 400m run

• Target Shooting (5 hits on target)

• 100m Sprint Finish

• Eligibility: Please note that this event is open to all existing SVs. All fitness levels accepted. No pre-enlistees.

• This is not an official SAFVC event. This is an #ForSVbySV initiative.

• Availability: 10 pax

• Registration Deadline: Day before the training date at 1600.
